Trader Vics Chicago has a multitude of different options available to those interested in entertaining large parties from 10 to 285 people or taking over the entire facility. Our in-house services include cocktail receptions with light appetizers famously called tidbits and pupus (Hawaian for appetizers), plated formal dinners or beach favored buffet style options. An event at Trader Vics ensures a high turnout of guests to join in the fun.

 

 

The Mai Tai Lounge
Ideal for cocktail receptions, the Mai Tai Lounge is a semi-private area that can accommodate up to 50 seated guests or 70 for a standing reception

 

The Luau Room
A larger private room that that can accommodate up to 99 seated guests or 130 for a standing reception.

 

Vics Office
Vics Office is a semi private dining room that can accommodate up to 8-10 guests for an intimate and formal dining experience.

 

Main Dining Room
For larger groups the entire dining room can accommodate up to 130 guests for a formal dinner or up to 285 guests for a standing reception style event.
Buyouts of the entire facility are a huge success, as well.
